This dehumidifier effectively works down to 41°F and is capable of drawing out up to 50 pints of unwanted moisture from your finished or unfinished basement, bedroom or office. The Danby Premiere series are loaded with much needed features such as adjustable humidity settings, automatic shut off to prevent overflow, an included 7 power cord and an Auto dry function to remove residual moisture and prevent bacteria & mold from forming. The Danby Premiere dehumidifiers are equipped with a removable air filter to help reduce dust/dirt particles from the air. To maintain maximum operating efficiency, the filter must be checked and cleaned regularly every two weeks depending on use and indoor air quality. Never operate the unit without the air filter in place. The filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or with water (should be completely dry when placed back into the unit)
The fan does not run continuously on this unit. The fan along with the compressor are designed to cycle on and off as needed.
