The Vornado Ultra3 Humidifier uses ultrasonic technology to create a more comfortable, healthy living space. Ultrasonic technology vibrates water into a fine, visible mist which is then emitted into the air. With the assistance of Vornado's Vortex fan system, humidity is thoroughly circulated in spaces as large as 600 square feet. The Ultra3 humidifier features a manual humidistat that automatically regulates moisture output. This humidifier can also be set to run continuously for maximum humidity output. Large, easy-to-use push-button controls with LED lights allow you to adjust the humidity levels and fan speeds - high, low or auto. In Auto mode, the fan and ultrasonic transducer work in tandem to adjust the set humidity level. The Evap3 includes a mineral cartridge that softens the water, reducing mineral buildup. It features a 1-gallon tank capacity which offers a 2-gallon per day output. Includes a 5 year manufacturer warranty.

An ultrasonic transducer shakes the water into a fine, visible mist. Then an axial blower pushes the mist up towards the main circulator. Vornado's signature blades and grill create powerful air movement and the humidity is then circulated throughout the room.

What makes this humidifier so great is Vornado's Vortex Action which is essentially a deep bladed fan which results in some very impressive circulation capabilities. In fact, while the Ultras3 is rated at 600 square feet, it will likely do more thanks to the Vortex Action. Additionally, this ultrasonic humidifier can be placed on the floor; a unique feature for an ultrasonic. Normally the moisture output is just too great for floor placement and results in a large, damp area surrounding the humidifier. Because this humidifiers fan is so powerful, there is no concern that the humidity will not evaporate before hitting the floor.On the up side, this humidifier emits a lot of moisture but it doesn't have the level of controls
