Steam Mops
|
|
Our Vapor Steam Mops sanitize, clean and deodorize floors in one simple operation. Our steam mops utilize dry steam of levels of 200°F or more, to quickly remove dirt, stains and grease and kill dust mites, mold, germs, spores and bacteria without the use of chemicals. Our steam mops are lightweight, compact and easy to use on all types of floors such as hardwood, ceramic and laminate. Our selection of steam mops only includes those which have passed our rigorous testing. Sad to say, most steam mops we have tested we found to be near dangerous as their handles heat up to a very uncomfortable level; their steam temperatures are either too low to do a decent cleaning job or they spit out steam and could possibly burn the user. So our resultant list of steam mops is a small one, but contains steam mops we can stand behind.

About Our Steam Mop Selection:
1. Euroflex Steam Mop. We take a very good view of our Euroflex steam mop model because it shoots out steam just ahead of the mop head which is a completely new feature in steam mops, and one which in our opinion makes their floor cleaning abilities just that much better than their competitors.
2. Haan Steam Mops are made in Korea where the company has captured the lion's share of the steam mop and other steam cleaning products. Their focus is to produce mass market steam products, as well made as possible for the price constraints. While not the first to market, they have popularized the steam mop and produced a mop which is great for kitchen pickups and general cleaning. However, the steam in their mops is not hot enough and is lacking the tools needed to tackle the very worst kinds of floor cleaning problems. However, our testing team has found that the Haan steam mops do a very credible job on dried pet vomit, and sticky dried spills on both wood and kitchen and urine on bathroom floors - which is what most consumers want a steam mop to handle.
3. Reliable Steam Mop. As their name implies, they manufacture a quality steam mop which lasts a great deal longer than most other steam mops. We wish it had a larger pad for cleaning because we like to get our cleaning done as fast as possible. But apart from that small gripe, these are excellent steam mops.
4. The Gruene Two in One is very popular with our customers because it attempts to provide the consumer with two useful cleaning tools in one. A steam mop and a hand held steam cleaner. The steam mop does a very acceptable job. The handheld steam cleaner certainly matches most of the handhelds out there, but to our minds [which have been spoiled by larger steam cleaners,] this is where it falls down a bit. The Gruene steam mop is great for quick counter top spills and clean ups and bathroom sanitization, but it lacks the quality tools we have become used to in market steam cleaners.
5. SteamFast Steam Mop. Our testing team was a bit conflicted about including the SteamFast in our product line but it just squeaked in on the basis for the price, it is unbeatable. Just do not expect it to last a long time. But as an introduction to steam cleaning, this one is the best of the lower end steam mops.
