The Aquila may be compact in size but it still comes with all of the comforts included with larger ultrasonics including silent operation, water protection features and the dispersion of an ultra-fine cool mist to relieve symptoms associated with dry indoor air. A simple on and off button operates this little unit while a beautifully illuminated blue or red LED light within the humidifier's base indicates when the tank is full or empty. With its smooth, simple design, the Aquila allows you to hydrate and decorate smaller areas without taking up much space. The Aquila includes an anti-calcium cartridge to remove minerals in the water and reduce white dust and an Ionic Silver Cube to maintain water purity in the reservoir. The anti-calcium cartridge should be replaced every 2 – 4 months depending on the hardness of the water. It is recommended to replace the Ionic Silver Cube once a year or at the beginning of every humidifying season.
