LifeAir air purifiers do not utilize traditional air purification technology such a pre-filter, HEPA filter or carbon. The patented IonFlow Technology works to clean the air from the most harmful particles: fine, ultra-fine and nano particles, all the way down to PM0.007. Particle Collector Cleaning:

• Remove the collector from the ion generator and clean it with gentle dish detergent, water and a soft sponge or dish brush
• Dry the collector with a dish towel
• Put the collector back on the ion generator according to instructions in the manual

If you followed all the instructions above but the collector is still not clean, try the following:
• Spray a cleaning detergent around the collector and let it sit for 5 minutes
• Use a damp sponge and rub any remaining spots until they disappear
• Dry the collector with a towel and place it back on the ion generator according to the instructions in the manual

Frequency of Cleaning:

• The frequency of cleaning will depend on the environment
• Recommended particle collector cleaning interval is every two weeks
• Recommended corona needle cleaning interval is every two months

About the Particle Collector:
The particle collector has a strong positive charge that effectively attracts the particles in the air, so it will be dirty on the outside. At first you may experience it as a change in color as the particles are extremely small and fixed evenly over the surface of the collector. After a while however, it will become visible. When it becomes visible will depend on how polluted the environment is where the air purifier is placed. We recommend that you place the IonFlow Evolution model at least 3 feet away from all walls and furniture.
