UV-C light technology is proven to help eliminate airborne germs. This technology has been used for over 100 years to kill up to 99.9% of germs on surfaces, in the air and water. UV-C light is highly effective at penetrating viruses and bacteria that can cause staph, pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchitis and meningitis. The light alters the genetic structure of germs and they die.

Use a clean, dry, soft cloth to wipe the external surface of the unit once a month.

Filter Maintenance:
Pre-filter: remove from combination filter and clean with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner
Combination HEPA Filter: replace every 6-12 months depending on use. When filter turns grey or black it should be replaced with a new one
UV-C bulb: should be replaced every 10-12 months depending on use (replacement bulb is only sold directly from manufacturer)

This is a good multi-purpose, compact air purifier for a single room approximately 186 sq. ft. During our testing, it significantly reduced the particles in the air and its fan is quiet enough on low to use in a bedroom while sleeping. It is very simple to use with a manual knob fan control and push button UV light option.
