This Crescent Moon alpaca wool mattress encasements is filled with wool from organically grown alpaca and sheep and is cleaned and processed without the use of harsh chemicals. The mattress encasements are made with the 280 TC fabric with a zipper more than half way round. Encasements made in all the mattress sizes and in the depth of the mattress from 6" to 18". The zipper ends are tucked into a twill pocket to discourage bed bugs! We allow for shrinkage so folks don't have to buy the next size up to get a good fit!The wool fill in this pad is a mix of 70% alpaca and 30% sheep wool for the best warmth, strength and softness. It naturally does not harbor dust-mites or their allergens that can cause asthma and allergies in the bedroom. This makes for a more comfortable and healthy night's sleep. Durable and easy to wash.

To protect your alpaca wool mattress encasements, it is recommended a mattress cover be used at all times. Occasional airing will keep it fresh and clean. Dry clean the mattress encasement or wash by hand using a gentle detergent or wool washing liquid. Air dry instead of using an automatic dryer.
