The eco-mélange™ process from BedVoyage is a patented water-less process of dying the bamboo fibers, in any color you desire, and then weaving those pre-dyed fibers with white cotton fibers, to create a textured-look. The result is a bamboo and cotton blend that gives a luxe lived-in look and feel. BedVoyage uses 60% bamboo and 40% cotton for the blend.
The bamboo is hypallergenic, which supports healthy skin by naturally resisting bacteria, wicking moisture, helping to minimize acne and skin irritations. The fibers also keep your hair from damage and breaking. Additionally, they have a neutral odor and repel dust mites.
Made of a 300 thread count bamboo fiber and long-staple cotton fiber, the pillowcases are softer and costs less than plain cotton pillowcases with higher thread counts. Additionally, a thread count of 300 for bamboo is very high. BedVoyage has opted for the ‘sweet spot’ of 300 thread count as this will have incredible softness AND keep the breathability of the pillowcases.

Wash on warm with an eco-friendly liquid detergent, tumble dry on medium. To get rid of oil stains on pillowcases wet the oil stains, apply Dawn dishwashing liquid (a de-greaser!) soak for 15 minutes, then wash. Or spray a spot remover onto the stains before laundering, or use a paste of baking soda and water, let sit 10 minutes, then launder as usual.
