Pluses:

Minuses:

Summary:
This lightweight sweeper makes hygienic cleaning of floors safe and easy. To our surprise it actually is an effective sweeper using a motorized brush roll with soft bristles that gentle gather up dust and debris. It is not strong enough to pick up heavy debris like wet dirt or sand that is embedded into carpet, but it will pick up lint, hair and dust bunnies. The dust bin does not hold very much but luckily it is very easy to empty.
The biggest downfall to this sweeper is that in order to truly sanitize your floors, the surface has to have at least 10 sections of exposure to the UV light. This means you will need to slow your sweeping pace and usually go over an area more than once. Luckily the battery life on the sweeper is very good, lasting up to 45 minutes and it will recharge in only 3 hours.
The Sanitizing Sweeper is very easy to use with foot controls for power and uv light. The LED headlights let you know it is on and makes it easy to see in dark corners or under furniture. The Sweeper will lie flat to the floor and has a swivel head so it is very easy to maneuver under and around furniture. It is super lightweight and is not much more than a small power head on a stick with a handle. Though the design does not appear very sturdy, so far it has held up well with repeated use. As a tip, just make sure the wand is tightly screwed together tightly or it will feel wobbly. Also we recommend charging it for a few hours after every use to guarantee it will be full of power when you are ready to use it again. The sweeper parks on its own and its slim design makes it very easy to hide away in a closet when not in use.

This is an awesome product. I always thought bathroom floors and kitchen floors were nasty if you didn't wash them daily and with this I can sweep the floor and use the UVC light to sanitize the floor... (see entire review) |
