Pluses:
Very supportive and resilient.
Very nice craftsmanship. This pillow has a quality look and feel. Its full lofty design look great on a bed too.
Great for side sleeper as it maintains a high profile to support the head and neck and keep the spine in proper alignment.
Would be a good pillow for a larger person who likes a full and resilient pillow to support their head and neck.
Minuses:
Not good for stomach sleepers as the loft is too high and will put strain on the neck.
Not a good pillow for a child. This pillow has a very high profile and a child’s head would not be heavy enough to compress the pillow to a comfortable sleeping position.
Summary:
The Tommy Bahama PrimaLoft pillow would be the perfect pillow for someone who is looking for a full, very supportive pillow with a medium firm feel. The interesting thing about this pillow is though it feels soft and fluffy, when you rest your head on it actually provides the support of a firm pillow. When sleeping on this pillow I was amazed at the resiliency of the PrimaLoft fill and surprised when my head did not sink down into the pillow. It provides a nice cushion to the head and neck but with a very high profile. This pillow is not for someone who sleeps on their stomach as the pillow is too thick (it measures 8 inches thick). The high loft and resilient support of the Tommy Bahama pillow makes it the ultimate side sleeper pillow for an adult.
