The Reliable Steamboy T2 Sweeper and Steam Mop is an innovative cleaning machine that will sanitize and clean the home by utilizing the natural cleaning power of hot steam vapor and without harsh chemical cleaning agents.
Pluses:
Cleaning kitchen and tile bathroom floors was a breeze! It was very convenient to use the sweeper function to quickly pick up cat hair, dirt and crumbs before going over with the steam mop. Although the sweeper function doesn't provide the same suction power as a full-sized vacuum it still did an acceptable job for those lighter pick-ups. In all, we were very satisfied that we didn't have to lug out both a vacuum and mop to get those quick cleaning chores done!
The steam mop function left hardwood, ceramic and tile floors shiny and almost instantly dry without puddles or streaks. We were impressed with how its lightweight and compact design allowed us to easily move back and forth.
Heats up almost instantaneously with no long waiting time! Simply fill up the removable tank, plug it in and in a matter of seconds powerful steam vapor will be ready.
The Steamboy T2 produced a high enough temperature steam to not only loosen up stains and spills but also helped with eliminating dust mites, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, bacteria and viruses from surfaces.
It won't deep clean or lift deep down dirt but the carpet glide attachment and steam vapor did a nice job with freshening and sanitizing carpets and area rugs.
No more reaching down on your hands and knees to mop up a spill! The sweeper function will quickly pick up juice, coffee and other wet spills and store it in the removable collection compartment. After done picking up the spill then simply go over with the steam function to fully clean and sanitize the area.
Its lightweight design, ergonomic handle and 180° swivel head allowed us to effortlessly glide across the floor and reach all those nooks and crannies.
The T2 provided an 11" cleaning path (wider than our popular Steamboy T1 steam mop) which was wide enough to sufficiently clean a good-size room but not too large where storage and maneuverability was an issue.
We were impressed with how easy it was to assemble and get up and running. Plus it has a nice carry handle on the front which made moving up and down stairs and throughout the home much easier.
Affordable since the Reliable T2 provides you with the benefits of an effective steam mop with the bonus of an electric sweeper. Plus, since you are only using water to clean and sanitize the floor there is no need to buy harsh chemical cleaners.
Minuses:
The sweeper function is not designed to be used on the carpet. However it does a nice job with picking up spills, dust and general light debris from hard floor surfaces.
It was sometimes difficult to reach deep into tile grout due to the flat design of the microfiber pad and steam head.

After much use throughout the office and home, our reviewers came to the conclusion that the Reliable Steamboy T2 Sweeper and Steam Mop is the perfect multi-purpose floor tool for those seeking a quick and easy way to sweep and sanitize virtually any surface in the home. We recommend that you first sweep the floor before going over with the steam. However, we were able to utilize both the sweeper and steam function for those quick, small cleaning chores. In summary, we were impressed with its well-designed features, ability to achieve spotless floors without much effort and surprisingly how much fun we had while cleaning.
