These pillows are available in 3 fill levels, light, medium and heavy. Each fill level offers firm support and the difference is in the profile or pillow height. Cotton pillows do not have the compression and recovery of a down or down-alternative pillow. Cotton filled pillows do makes a firm pillow that is not very lofty, but they are a bit softer than a wool filled pillow.
