The retro styled pureguardian™ H2000 ultrasonic humidifier is a quiet and efficient humidifier that will fit nicely in a bedroom, office or den up to 400 square feet. It disperses an ultra clean warm or cool mist which will bring relief from a dry environment. The pureguardian™ uses Silver Clean™ technology to fight the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the water tank. And best of all, it is virtually maintenance free with no expensive wicks or filters to replace! Other useful features include user-friendly manual controls, low water indicator light and auto shut-off when the tank is empty. Care of: It is recommended that you place the product up and not on the floor. Wash out the unit with fresh water using a cleaning brush and soft cloth. Do not use chemicals or detergents. Gently wipe away debris from the filter with a soft cloth. To clean the ultrasonic disks, remove spray spout and use the enclosed cleaning brush to regularly remove build up and spots from this area. White vinegar will help to prevent this build up.
Product Usage: In order to maximize the performance it is recommended the unit be placed at least 2 feet off the floor to allow the mist the opportunity to evaporate before hitting the floor and to eliminate the carpeting or wood floor surrounding it from becoming damp.
Please note: The manufacturer recommends the use of distilled water to limit or prevent mineral dust and buildup.
The following situations could contribute to excessive white dust so are recommended to be avoided:
Using water that has been treated by a water softening system could result in an increased incidence of white dust due to the excess sodium in the softened water. Therefore, it is recommended to use water that bypasses the system, bottled, or distilled water.
Use of this product with a negative ionizer air purifier or air cleaner with an optional post ionizing function could contribute to an increased collection of dust on surfaces. If this occurs try operating this product without the negative ionizer air purifier or with the optional ionizing function on the air cleaner off.

The aesthetically pleasing design and durability of the pureguardian™ humidifiers is sure to be a good fit for small bedrooms, especially your children's. The use of ultrasonic technology keeps this humidifier virtually silent all while providing a comfortable humidity level during those dry months. In addition to providing a steady cool mist, you have the option of dispersing a warm mist to maintain an optimal humidity level within any uncomfortable environment.
Pluses:
Very little maintenance! Unlike some of our other humidifiers which need constant changing of filters, cartridges or cleaning of discs, pureguardian™ treated the tank with a fungistatic agent to fight the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the water tank. Only maintenance required is to quickly clean and rinse the tank periodically.
Once out of the box and taking a first look at the unit, we immediately noticed the strong, durable and sturdy construction of the humidifier. This was ensuring to know that this is a reliable, long-lasting humidifier.
Even on the highest speed it was virtually silent with only the slightest humming noise. We firmly believe one would not be disturbed with unwanted noise while sleeping.
We were impressed with the mist output controls and 360 degree direction flow.
While packing the unit away after use, we noticed a small compartment to store the power cord out of the way and sight. This is an added benefit when storing the humidifier during those seasons in which it is not needed.
The tank is rounded and has the handle on the top so it is difficult to balance or set the tank down to fill it.

In most cases it will not be necessary for any filters to operate your pureguardian™ ultrasonic humidifier. However, if you notice white dust, this decalcification filter will help to prevent the release of minerals (white dust) into the air. It is recommended to replace the filter cartridge approximately every 1000 hours of use or about 260 gallons of water depending on the condition of water you are using in the product. Compatible with the following pureguardian™ Humidifier models: H1500, H1600, H2000, H3010 and H4500.
