Pluses:

  • Cool sleeping surface throughout the entire night.
  • Helps reduce sweating.
  • Easy to squish and mold into the shape you desire.
  • Removable pillow cover for easy care in between washing the entire pillow. This also helps entends the pillow's lifespan.
  • Entire pillow can be put in the washer and dryer for easy cleaning.

Minuses:

  • The Outlast Cooling lining is only on one side of the pillow cover. The only way to tell which side to sleep on is by opening up the cover and looking for the lining.

Summary:

After 1 week of sleeping on the PrimaLoft Cooling Pillow I have experienced a deeper sounder sleep than I have in years. I thought I would be taking the Outlast cooling cover off and putting it on my favorite pillow but first wanted to give the PrimaLoft pillow a fair test. Up until sleeping on this pillow I kept 3 pillows on my bed so that I would be able to turn, squish, mold, and always have a cool area to sleep on. I have been able to do all of the molding and squishing with this pillow and the encasing keeps it markedly cooler than all 3 of other pillows on my bed. I would have liked to see a better definition of the treated side as only one side of the casing is treated for the purpose of keeping the pillow cool. Overall, a great pillow and would make a great gift!
