We have been waiting for Miele to come out with an upright that compares to their canisters and they finally have. It seems they analyzed everything a person would want in an upright vacuum and included it in their upright.
Pluses:
The Bolero comes standard with Miele's impeccable sealed HEPA filtration system that uses the most hi-tech vacuum bags and certified HEPA filters which actually improve the air quality as you vacuum.
Its strong suction power and brush roll action revives crush pile carpet in high traffic areas.
We were impressed at how easily this vacuum switched from bare floors to different area rugs and wall to wall carpeting without requiring the user to do a thing.
The automatic carpet height setting and spring loaded brush roll eliminates the need to make any adjustments as the cleaning surface changes.
The vacuum’s flat to floor profile makes it easy to reach under furniture.
Although heavy, the swivel neck and weight distribution in the design allows it to glide along both carpet and smooth floor surfaces effortlessly and change direction with minimal effort.
The bright LED headlights are great for illuminating dark corners and under furniture.
The 12-foot extended hose with the anti-tip feature is unbelievable as it allows you to stretch the hose as far as you’d like and not worry about the vacuum falling over.
The telescopic stainless steel wand made it easy to reach the cobwebs at the ceiling and clean the top of the molding along the floor.
The accessory tools that come with the Bolero are some of the best we have seen, featuring a full-size crevice tool that can actually reach deep into the dark corners of plush couches or hard to reach areas.
Handy bag-full indicator lets you know when its time to change the filter bag so you can get maximum use out of it.
Extra large capacity vacuum bags hold a lot of dirt so you do not have to change the bag frequently.
