Summary:
When selecting the MicroMax down alternative line of products it was very important for us to try them out and make sure this was a polyester fiber fill that we could feel confident offering to our customers. The first thing I noticed about this comforter was how the filling inside felt silky and lofty. The second thing I noticed was how it did not feel heavy or bulky like some down alternative comforters do. It was actually really comfy and cozy and I warmed up just as quickly as I do under a down comforter. I have to say it is not as warm as a down comforter but I was very comfortable throughout the entire night and can see this comforter being used spring, fall and winter. The care instructions say machine wash and dry however due to its size you will most likely need to use a commercial-size front load washer and dryer. I have not washed the comforter yet because I use it with a duvet cover, but one of the reasons we selected MicroMax as the down alternative of our choice was because the manufacturer has done multiple wash tests with the fill and results showed it performed better, retained more of its original properties and visibly keep its shape better than the competition. Overall this comforter represents a fantastic value for the price.
