- Washable Hepa Filter: A truly innovative
feature. This filter is washable and designed to last 5 years. Other
replaceable filters need to be changed every 6 months.
- Easy to reach hand tools: Most of
the on board hand tools on this Eureka Oxygen vacuum cleaner are conveniently
stored in the back of the vacuum cleaner within easy reach for changing.
One of the extension wands fits inside the other when in storage.
- Included Accessories: Included are
a dusting & upholstery brush, 2 nested extension wands, a stretch
hose and a long crevice tool.
- Two FREE BONUS tools are included:
a mini turbo brush- great for stairs, upholstery, car interiors or pet
hair and a deluxe floor brush (a $50 freebie)

- Noise Level: Most upright vacuum
cleaners are very noisy. This machine was one of the quietest uprights
we have tested.

- Easy to change filters: Lift up the
lid, take out the old filter and snap in a new one. A 10 second job.
- Completely sealed HEPA motor system :
Makes sure there is no leakage of dust back in the air. Most vacuum
cleaners are not completely sealed although they seem to imply that.
Minuses:
- Warranty: The warranty is only for
one year on the Eureka Oxygen upright 6230 vacuum compared to the five
year warranty on the Eureka Oxygen canister models.
- No bag change indicator: We would
have liked a bag change indicator but for this price you can't have
everything.
- Carpet height adjustment: On this
vacuum cleaner it is manual rather than automatic which is found in
more expensive vacuum cleaners.
Summary: Our congratulations to
Eureka for producing a great upright vacuum cleaner at a very affordable
price. The washable HEPA filter and the two bonus tools make this a truly
unique upright in this price range.
