A very powerful carpet cleaner that while not super easy to use, does a very good job on cleaning carpets that are especially dirty. It also nifty compartments that slip in and out of the machine for changing the water and really seeing the dirt that you are pulling up from rugs and carpets. It has the look of a Dyson vacuum cleaner with all of the see through plastic on the front of the machine. It also swivels nicely for getting around furniture and stationary objects.

Bulky and a little heavy to use but once you get the hand of it, it becomes easier to move around. Not easy to get up stairs.
Directions a little hard to follow at first but was operating it within ten minutes after reviewing instructions

If you have dirty carpets and rugs that really need a good cleaning, you really can't go wrong with the Hoover. It's a powerful machine that feels heavy and unwieldy at first but once you get the hang of it, you'll love the results. It also does dry the rugs somewhat after cleaning which helps the dry out time. If you are fascinated seeing the dirty water that you are pulling up from your carpets, this machine will definitely entertain you. I couldn't believe how dirty the water was once I went over my living room carpets that I felt weren’t that dirty. Not great on tough stains that I could see but I only had time to go over them once – so maybe multiple times would make a difference.
