How it Works: Dead Sea mud is very useful for cleansing and purifying the skin. Dead Sea mud is actually one of the most beneficial types of mud in the world. The Dead Sea is a very salty body of water, with a saline level between 28% and 35%. Even the world's saltiest oceans are only 3% to 6%. Evaporation happens quickly because that particular region is extremely hot.
