The HAAN Floor Steam Mop utilizes steam to remove tough grease, dirt and grime. Steam is nature’s purest and most powerful cleaner for safely cleaning all hard floor surfaces in your home without harsh chemicals, thus being perfectly ecological. It cleans your tile, hardwood, linoleum and vinyl floors.
Care of:
The HAAN Steam Mop is designed to clean hard floor surfaces that will withstand high heat. Do not use on unsealed wood or unglazed ceramic floors. It is recommended to test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned before proceeding. Never leave the floor sanitizer in one spot for any period of time. Always place the appliance on the safety floor pad and make sure that your floor sanitizer is turned off when not in use.
Use only regular water or distilled/purified water if the tap water in your area is very hard. It is recommended to clean the water tank once a month to eliminate calcium deposits. Add three ounces of water to the tank and shake to loosen any deposits. Immediately empty the water into a sink. Do not use vinegar or other decalcifying substances in the water tank.

The HAAN FS-50 steam mop is the quick, healthy and affordable solution for cleaning those dirty and grimy hard floor surfaces throughout the home. We were impressed with how this handy steam mop rose to the occasion and left the floors glowing without having to use any harsh chemicals. The sturdy and reliable FS-50 glides back and forth easily while the attached Ultra-Microfiber pad locks in dirt, grease and other spills. And best of all the floors are left dry almost instantly without any puddles or streaks!
Pluses:
Its lightweight design and S-shaped ergonomic handle allows the user to effortlessly move back and forth with little resistance.
The FS-50 heats up and is ready for use in only a matter of minutes. There is also a "ready light" on the steam head indicating when the steam has reached the maximum temperature and is ready for use.
The steam mop emitted a dry enough steam that didn't soak the floors but left them dry almost instantly.
Its larger screw cap is easier to unscrew and tighten compared our other HAAN steam mops.
The microfiber pads do a great job with collecting all of the dirt and grime. Plus they are reusable and can be washed in the washing machine.
Eliminated the need to clean without chemicals – just use regular tap water. The steam mop also reduces some of the backbreaking work that comes along when using mops, rags and buckets.
Ideal for virtually all bare floor surfaces especially vinyl and tile.
Minuses:
The unit will run continuously for about 15 minutes. So if you have a real larger area, it will take a few fill-ups of water to get it done.
Has a bulkier steam head which may make maneuvering under cabinets and other areas a bit tougher.
Unlike our other HAAN steam mop models, the FS-50 does not give you the option to attach a carpet sanitizing tray. This model is strictly for hardwood floors only.
Summary:
HAAN has developed a lightweight, easy-to-use and durable steam mop that will leave your hardwood floors sparkling clean like never before. The FS-50 model includes a larger screw cap that is easier to unscrew and fill (especially for those with weaker hands). The steam head is not as low in profile compared to our SI-35 and FS-20 models but it still reaches nicely under tables and chairs. Many of us testing the FS-50 found that the ergonomically designed pole and handle greatly reduced any back or wrist strain while mopping back and forth. The FS-50 allows you to clean floors with as little effort as possible!
