The HAAN Floor Steam Mop utilizes steam to remove tough grease, dirt and grime. Steam is nature’s purest and most powerful cleaner for safely cleaning all hard floor surfaces in your home without harsh chemicals, thus being perfectly ecological. It cleans your tile, hardwood, linoleum and vinyl floors.
Care of:
The HAAN Steam Mop is designed to clean hard floor surfaces that will withstand high heat. Do not use on unsealed wood or unglazed ceramic floors. It is recommended to test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned before proceeding. Never leave the floor sanitizer in one spot for any period of time. Always place the appliance on the safety floor pad and make sure that your floor sanitizer is turned off when not in use.
Use only regular water or distilled/purified water if the tap water in your area is very hard. It is recommended to clean the water tank once a month to eliminate calcium deposits. Add three ounces of water to the tank and shake to loosen any deposits. Immediately empty the water into a sink. Do not use vinegar or other decalcifying substances in the water tank.

The HAAN steam mop is definitely an easy-to-use steamer that does the job for simple floor cleaning around the home. With just a cupful of water, I was able to steam my mother's small vinyl kitchen floor in minutes. You know it is ready because you can hear the sound of steam within the unit start building up and the steam rising from the bottom. While I've heard that some of the HAANs run a little wet, this model worked fine with a nice even coat of vapor steam on the floor. Once you start using it, you learn to put the cord behind you while you’re steaming. It did a good job taking off the stickiness on her floor and smells fresh once it is cleaned. Looking at the removable cleaning pad, I could see all the dirt and grime that came off the floors. Love how it just peels off the bottom and then you can throw it in the washer.
I also used the FS-30+ on my own home wood floors for a quick pick-up. Make sure you have the standing pad handy to put the unit on when you moving the cord or adding water to the unit. I was a little nervous using it on hardwoods, but as long as you move quickly, it did a nice job of taking off dust and cat hair on the floors. I didn’t really notice that the red light was on which indicates it is out of water so you do need to keep an eye on it – because there is no sound telling you it is empty. But still, for the price and convenience, this handy steam mop is a great cleaner to have without the bells and whistles of higher priced steam cleaners.
Pluses:

Easy to fill the unit with tap water and starts working in minutes after plugging it in.
There is a convenient ready-for-use indicator located on the steam head which will notify you when the maximum steam temperature has been reached.
Ideal for kitchen floors – especially vinyl and tile. Can still work on hardwoods but you need to more careful and work fast.
Convenient reusable cleaning pads are easily applied and then taken off when dirty. Then just throw them in the wash to reuse them later.
Very affordable alternative to more expensive and bulkier steamers.
Easy to grip handle and like how the unit easily adjusts itself so you can get it into lower areas.
Its S-shaped ergonomic handle design allowed for less resistance and easier movement.
No chemical cleaners to keep around, just uses regular tap water and you are off and running.
Minuses:
Once I filled it up, the unit seemed to run for about 10-15 minutes of floor cleaning. So if you have a real larger area, it will take a few fill-ups of water to get it done.
Cord could be a little longer when doing a long hall area but for a unit like this you don’t want it too bulky.
I wish pads were completely white so I could all of the dirt on them. The striped pattern sometimes makes it hard to see everything you picked up.
Summary:
Overall, a very good choice for a steam mop that does a cracker jack job on floors. This is not multi-use vapor steam cleaner, but it is a steam mop with a lot going for it and at a price that is very attractive for most households. Believe me, once you clean with steam, you will not go back to harsh, smelly cleaning products that just can’t be good to breathe in.
