About UV-C Light
UV-C is part of the Ultra-violet light spectrum that is filtered out by the earth’s atmosphere. The “C” stands for the particular frequency of UV light that kills germs.

Pluses:

Easy to use. Just grab the handle, push the on button, select your operating mode and off you go.
No messy solutions or cloths! This product allows you to sanitize surfaces without the hassle or mess of solutions and dirty cloths, not to mention it saves you time from preparation and disposable.
Chemical Free. Finally we can achieve efficient sanitization safely without breathing in harmful chemicals which also dry out your hands.
Low Maintenance. The UV-C bulb is rated for 6000 to 8000 hours of use. With an estimated use of two hours per week, the bulb will last for 76 years! The only replacement costs for this wand is the batteries.
Minuses:
UV-C light can be harmful if expose directly to the skin or eyes. We recommend using UV-C protective glasses while using the product.
We would have liked Germ Guardian to include a pair of UV-C protective glasses with the product.
