This small, lightweight, self contained, handheld EMF Gauss meter is easy to use and ideal for measuring low frequency magnetic fields generated by electrical appliances, equipment and gadgets around the house or workplace. It will easily detect "hot spots" and help you identify the source. Common sources of hot spots include televisions, computers, AC power cords, office equipment and household appliances. The FW Bell 4180 features a 3.5" LDC display and push button controls with Auto Zero, Auto Range and Relative Mode. Its tri-axis design makes it easier to get accurate readings on the first try. Each meter comes with instruction manual, carry case and 4 AAA batteries.

Pluses:
- This meter is very light, portable, and completely self contained
- It is very easy to use and read
- The triple axis feature eliminates the need to rotate the meter to the strongest reading
Minuses:
- The meter measures extremely low frequency magnetic fields and not electric and radio frequency fields
Summary:
We were very impressed with how easy it was to use this meter. It is lightweight and portable and the triple axis feature insures an accurate reading without needing to rotate the meter. It would be great if it could also measure high frequency microwaves, radio frequencies, and electric fields. However, multi use meters will normally not be sensitive in all areas.
