The microfiber pads are designed to be used for hundreds of times. Regularly clean the pads either by hand (using mild soap and warm water) or in the clothes washer on delicate cycle, cool water. Never use fabric softener or bleach. Best to let the pads air dry to maintain maximum long term effectiveness.

Our testing team immediately found the EuroFlex EZ1 Monster as the hot new steam mop when it comes to steam cleaning without the use of harsh and harmful household chemical-based cleaners! The Monster harnesses the power of 266°F steam to effortlessly disinfect and loosen grime and dirt for your floors. Below are our thoughts after thoroughly reviewing the EZ1 Monster on all types of hard floor surfaces.
Pluses:
Out of the variety of steam mops we currently offer, the Monster provides the hottest temperature steam of 266°F. This high temperature of steam ensures that one is effectively killing bacteria, germs and dust mites on floor surfaces.
This is the first steam mop where we have seen frontal steam jets which are controlled by a trigger on the handle. This was extremely useful when cleaning the often untouched undersides of the cabinets and baseboards. It was much easier to reach these areas since the high temperature steam being emitted from the frontal jets effortlessly blasted away dirt and cobwebs.
One can adjust 4 different steam levels located right on the steam head. This is useful if you want to treat a delicate surface such as vinyl or need to treat a recent spill that doesn't need much steam power to loosen and collect.
We really enjoyed the steam on command design while in use. Many steam mops will constantly emit the steam when powered on, even when the user places it down on a parking pad while they quickly tend to something else while cleaning. The steam on command design will emit the steam every time the product is moving back and forth along the floors. Once you stop and park it in its upright position the steam will immediately stop. As a result, less water is being used increasing its operating time and there is less risk of damaging the floor if you step away briefly.
The combination of the high temperature steam and microfiber material acts like a magnet when loosening and picking up dirt, hair and spills. Unlike some other floor cleaners and mops, these pads can easily be machine washed and used multiple times.
Heats up fast in around 3 minutes so that you can tend to those spills quickly!
Has a decent-sized capacity water tank of 500 ml which allowed us to continuously steam for around 30 minutes before needing a refill.
The Monster is equipped with a long 24 foot power cord which allows for easy reach in larger sized rooms and even multiple rooms in smaller areas (such as in apartments).
Minuses:
Does not have a boiler empty indicator. However, once you see that there is no steam being emitted then this is a sign that the tank needs to be refilled.
Summary:
Overall, our product testers felt the Monster emitted a satisfactory amount of steam vapor and liked that it didn't leave the floors soaking wet. In only a minute or two after gliding over the floor, they were left virtually dry and streak free. As mentioned earlier, what really sets the EuroFlex EZ1 Monster apart from the rest of our steam mop lineup is its frontal steam jets, adjustable steam levels and steam on command design. With all of these unique features and the included microfiber pads and carpet tray, we certainly feel the Monster offers great bang for your buck.
