Natural rubber mattress & slat foundation specifications: These mattresses are as pure as they can possibly be without chemicals, dyes, polymers, or toxins. They are covered with 100% organic cotton.
Mattress ingredients: The 6-inch natural rubber core is produced from the milk of the Hevea Brasilielnsis, the common rubber tree in Malaysia. The milk is harvested and molded within the same day using the Dunlop system to ensure the rubber keeps its form. It is 97% natural rubber and 3% soda ash and zinc, which is used to expand the rubber and stabilizes it. This mattress core is then surrounded with quilted layers of organic cotton and pure wool.
The 100% organic cotton quilting is handpicked, to eliminate most of the impurities, in the Peruvian Andes and woven in Germany and Switzerland. KRAV of Sweden, Europe’s oldest and most prestigious certification agency has certified this organic cotton. The lamb’s wool is shorn from sheep in Texel, Netherlands where organic practices are used. The wool is only washed in a vegetable based soap and hot water. After the quilted layers of cotton and wool are attached to the natural rubber core, the mattress is finally covered in heavy-duty organic cotton covering.
Slat Foundation: The slat foundation (to be used instead of a box spring) is designed specifically for the natural rubber mattress. It is constructed from kiln-dried spruce wood and has 2-inch wide slats every 2 inches to provide the perfect amount of support. The slats allow for ample air circulation and are covered in a heavy-duty 100% organic cotton cover.

Care of:
Place your mattress on a slat or solid foundation. Turn and rotate the mattress every 8 weeks. Do not allow the mattress to get wet. For stains, use a non-toxic spot cleaner. Protect your mattress with a mattress cover.
