How it Works:
The BD80 series are high capacity dehumidifiers, made to operate at high efficiencies by removing moisture from the air through the refrigeration process. The fan draws the moist air through the cold evaporator coil, which cools the air below its dew point. Moisture forms on the evaporator coil and is collected in the condensate tray. The cooled air then passes through the hot condenser coil where it is reheated using the same energy removed during the cooling phase, plus the additional heat generated by the compressor. The air is, therefore, discharged from the dehumidifier at a slightly higher temperature with a lower absolute humidity than that which entered. Continuous circulation of air through the dehumidifier gradually reduces the relative humidity within the area. Because the BD80-XE unit is equipped with an internal condensate pump, the equipment is ideal for unmanned situations, removing the need to empty buckets/containers. The neat pump purge facility allows the condensate pump to be drained before moving to another location and prevents water spillage during transport.

The Ebac BD80 & BD80XE are high capacity dehumidifiers ideal for moderate to sever moisture conditions. Powerful, efficient and compact, these machines remove up to 15 gallons from areas with extreme moisture making them versatile and reliable.

The BD80 and BD80 XE are both rugged, powerful dehumidifiers designed to handle severe moisture quickly and quietly. Though they do not have an adjustable humidistat, they are very similar to the CD60 model. With large wheels and a handle, these units are more mobile, allowing for easy mobility from room to room. Hot gas auto defrost allows for easy operation in temperatures as low as 33 degrees. You will not be disappointed with this effective and durable dehumidifier.
