Pluses:

Low energy use, 4-35 watts.
Slim design fits nicely just about anywhere.
Does a very good job at removing airborne particles in a good sized room (240 sq. ft.). Our testing results showed an efficiency rate of 98% at 0.3 microns.
Quiet operation on all fan speeds.
Indicator lights show fan speed, operating mode and air pollution level.
Filter change indicators allow you to get the most efficient use out of each filter.
Air quality monitor keeps you aware of pollution levels and in auto mode adjusts fan speeds to optimum level.
Automatic operation with energy saving mode and sleep mode is very convenient and keeps operating costs at a minimum.

Minuses:

AP-1008CH only has a small amount of carbon included in the A3 filter and will not remove strong gases, odors or chemicals.

Summary:

We would recommend the Coway air purifiers for some who is looking for general air cleaning and wants a unique looking air purifier. Both of these air purifiers are very quite which would make them a good fit for bedroom or living area use. If you are interested in removing household odors as well as allergen particles, the Coway AP-1008DH has stronger filtration for gases and odors.
