About Eiderdown comforters:
• The finest, warmest, most luxurious, and most rare down comforters
• Feels extremely lightweight even with it's superior warmth
• Eider ducks are found only in the nethermost regions of the
North Atlantic, principally in Iceland
• Eiderdown is down plucked by the mother from her own breast
and then used to cover her eggs to keep them warm
• The down is then hand harvested after the nests have been
abandoned thus creating a process that is very labor intensive and
expensive
• Since there is also a limited and diminishing world supply
of Eiderdown, this down is considered an heirloom
• The down has such amazing thermal insulating power it has
very little bulk while producting exceptional warmth
