The AquaCera Imperial Under Sink Water Filtration system features a highly-efficient Doulton Sterasyl ceramic filter to help remove more than 99.99% of bacteria, cysts and other harmful particles from your tap water. The specially designed filter also uses a sediment wrap on the outside and a carbon block core on the inside to reduce the taste of chlorine and odor. The system neatly fits under the sink and features a simple and sanitary quick change design when replacing filters. The quick change design allows the user to remove and replace cartridges with a simple quarter twist eliminating water spills and other hassles associated with replacement filters. How it Works: The Doulton Sterasyl filter is a highly efficient ceramic micro filter which provides genuine sub micron filtration of drinking water. Sterasyl is manufactured with the highly consistent and controlled pore structure necessary to remove a wide range of water borne contaminants over the life of the cartridge. In addition to fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity are removed to a high level of efficiency. The incorporation of silver locked with the ceramic structure inhibits the growth of bacteria and gives each cartridge enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties for safe handling and cleaning. Absolute filtration 0.9 µm. (0.5 µm. ANSI standard).
Care of:
The CeraCarb Filter should be replaced every 12 months. A simple quarter turn will remove the filter.
