The Alen A375 Air Purifier is a great all-purpose air purifier designed to make cleaning the air simple using Alen's Smart-Sensor Technology. When on Auto, particle and odor sensors monitor air pollution and automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain optimal indoor air quality. The Alen A375 combines a HEPA style filter with Activated Carbon and ozone-safe ionizer to capture 98% of airborne particles 0.3 microns and larger and reduce light odors and chemicals commonly found inside the home. The A375 has the ability to purify the air in a room up to 650 sq. ft. with two air changes per hour. Its slim, compact design can be placed on the floor or mounted on a wall to save space. As with every Alen Air Purifier, the Alen A375 includes a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

How it Works:
Polluted air first passes through Alen’s washable Pre-Filter to capture large particles, increasing the performance and longevity of the filter. In the second layer, air moves through a unique, electrostatically charged HEPA style material that attracts and captures dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne pollutants. Clean air then passes through a layer of Alen’s Activated Carbon, reducing light odors and chemicals commonly found in the air from cleaning products, smoke, cooking, pets and various other household items. The A375’s ozone-safe Ionizer complements the HEPA style filter by charging particles in the air, causing them to stick together and become more easily captured.
Over time, the HEPA-Fresh Filter becomes overloaded with particles, decreasing its filtration performance. Alen recommends regularly replacing the filter every 6 months with continuous use or as indicated by the filter change indicator.
Rinse or lightly vacuum the removable black Alen Pre-filter as soon as it develops a layer of visible particles. Allow it to completely dry before replacing. Washing or vacuuming the white HEPA style material will damage the fibers and is not recommended.

The Alen A375 air purifier is Alen's most sophisticated air purifier with Smart-Sensor Technology and a remote control. The A375 is efficient at removing airborne particulates as well as light gases, chemicals, and odors. Additionally, it offers the option to use UVC light and Photo-Catalytic Oxidation Technology to help reduce VOCs and odor issues.
Provides air filtration of allergens and common household odors and gases in a large area up to 650 sq. ft.
Very good quality particle removal of 98% at 0.3 microns and larger.
Quiet on low speeds. Speed 1 sounds like a whisper and speed 2 background white noise.
Filter change indicator light will illuminate when it is time to replace the filter. Indicator light is based on actual run time.
Quick and easy filter changes take less than 1 minute.
Unique, compact design requires minimal floor space and can be mounted on a wall to save floor space. Wall mounting brackets can be purchased as your local hardware store.
Low energy usage will not run up your electricity bill.
Easy to use and program with touch-button controls, digital display and remote control.
Independent particle and odor sensors monitor air quality and signals the A375 to adjust fan speed as necessary to return air quality to a clean level.
Auto-mode setting is a "must-have" feature for those who run their air purifier constantly and desire the most effective and energy efficient air filtration at all times. Auto-mode keeps the unit running on the lowest and quietest setting when air quality is good. When an increase in particles or odor is detected, the A375 will run on speed 4 until the air quality returns to an optimal level.
Programmable timer gives the option to run the A375 for a specific amount of time during the day. This is a useful feature for those who do not want to run the air purifier 24/7.
Ozone-free Ionizer and UV lamp can be turned on or off depending on the user preference.
When the UV lamps are in use, they activate the PCO Technology which helps to decompose odors, VOCs, viruses and bacteria.
Alen's lifetime warranty is very generous and rarely seen in the air purifier industry.
Speed 3 and 4 are not quiet and sounds like a box fan on medium and high speed.
To achieve 6 air changers per hour, room coverage is limited to a smaller sized room 223 sq. ft. or less.
Alen's HEPA-Fresh filter, the standard filter for the A375, is not for removing strong gases or chemicals. For better chemical, gas and odor control we recommend upgrading to Alen's HEPA-OdorCell filter.
Research has shown the UV lamps in the A375 are not very effective at killing bacteria and microbes trapped on the filter. For proven antimicrobial protection, we recommend upgrading to Alen's HEPA-Silver filter, tested to kill 99.99% of bacteria and microbes trapped on the filter.
The Alen A375 air purifier is a great choice for someone who is looking to remove a broad range of allergens and common household odors from a large bedroom or medium sized living area. The A375 is compact in comparison to other air purifiers that cover the same amount of square footage which makes it an ideal choice for a medium or large size room that does not have a lot of extra floor space or it can be mounted on a wall if needed. It is a bit more expensive than its twin, the Alen A350, but the jump in price is justified if you like automated air purification that adjusts based on the air quality of the room. The Alen A375 also includes UV and PCO advanced filtration technology, a feature Alen has decided to downplay. The purpose of these technologies is to help improve the A375's ability to neutralize VOC and odor pollutants. The PCO technology is only active when the UV bulbs are on and therefore is optional to use.
