The 3M Filtrete Advanced Faucet Water System fits neatly under the sink and is a quick, easy and economically way to great tasting drinking water. The 5 micron water filtration system effectively reduces chlorine taste and odor and sediments such as sand, silt, particulates and rust. The unique installation design allows you to filter the system through your cold water line and out your existing faucet. No extra faucet or spigot is required. A convenient shut-off valve is built into the housing for quick, easy, no mess filter replacement. The 3M Advanced Water System is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste and odor.

3US-AS01 Advanced System Set Up
|

How it Works:
Installation instructions. System comes with all hardware, installation accessories and instructions.
1. Turn off cold water
2. Disconnect existing tubing on the cold water side
3. Select location that allows for filter change. 3" of clearance is needed to change filter cartridge
4. Mount filter head/bracket on screws
5. Cut tubes to fit. Install faucet fitting. Insert tube in faucet fitting and outlet side of filter head
6. Slide compression hex nut onto other tube, followed by 3/8 ferrule with tapered end facing the shut off valve. Push tube insert into tube
7. Fasten one end of tube to cold water supply and tighten. Insert other end into inlet side of filter head
8. Install filter into filter head by inserting and turning 1/4 turn to the right until it stops. Turn on cold water supply and open faucet to flush air from the system (about 5 minutes)

Care of:
Quick and easy install instruction when replacing filter cartridge:
- Turn cartridge a quarter turn to the left until it stops. At this point, the water automatically turns off.
- Pull used cartridge straight down. Discard cartridge. Some wetness may be present
- Align tabs of new filter cartridge with existing filter head and insert new cartridge. Turn cartridge to the right until it stops.
- Turn cold water on for 5 minutes to flush new filter.

- We wish the filter lasted longer than 6 months. However, filter life could last longer depending on water conditions and the amount of people using the filtration system.
- Unlike the 3M Filtrete 3US-PS01 model this filtration system does not reduce parasitic cysts.
